Home / Event risk monitoring
Weather and hazard risk for every show, every date, every venue.
Add your venues and show dates. Zero Containment checks the forecast for each date against the thresholds production teams use (lightning, wind, heat, rain and air quality) and watches live hazards around the site. Each show gets Clear, Watch or Act, and a brief for the production office.

A pilot is 30 days on your real locations. We reply within two business days; nothing is billed until you choose a plan.
How it works
- Add venues and dates. One show or a whole tour, typed in or uploaded as a spreadsheet.
- We check every date. Thunderstorms, gusts, heat, heavy rain, freezing temperatures, UV and air quality from 16 days out, plus live fires, storms, quakes and official warnings near the venue.
- Your team knows what to do. Clear, Watch or Act for each show with the reasons, and a one-page risk brief for production, security and medical leads.
One incident, start to finish
- An agency reports it. For example, the National Weather Service issues a Red Flag Warning or a fire is reported 30 miles from one of your sites.
- We check it against your locations. Inside a boundary you uploaded, inside the alert radius, or under the warning area the agency drew. Distance alone is never called impact.
- You see the evidence. The original source and its own rating, the event time, when we last confirmed it, and how many independent feeds report it.
- Your rule fires once. On the page, as a desktop notification, or to Slack, Teams or a webhook, logged with its delivery status. A raised severity counts as a new update; an unchanged one does not repeat.
- You decide and record it. Open the playbook, mark mitigation with an approver, and export the audit log or a one-page brief.
Thresholds we check
- Thunderstorms forecast: prepare lightning holds (common practice is to stop outdoor activity when lightning is within 8 miles and wait 30 minutes).
- Gusts of 40 mph (64 km/h) or more: check stage, rigging and temporary structure wind limits.
- Highs of 95°F (35°C) or more: heat plan, water and cooling.
- Rain chance of 70% or more with heavy totals: drainage, ground protection and access routes.
- Air quality index above 150, or any severe official alert within your radius.
Thresholds guide attention; your venue safety plan, local authorities and on-site meteorologist take precedence.
What it replaces
- Manual checking: opening a dozen agency sites and weather apps for every location.
- Missed early signs: a fire, storm or warning near a site, a supplier or a show date that nobody was watching.
- Slow write-ups: rebuilding the same brief for leadership, production or insurers.
Data you can check
- Official sources first: USGS, NOAA and the National Weather Service, NASA, GDACS, FEMA and national agencies in Canada and Australia. News reports are marked unverified and never set a location to Act on their own.
- Coverage: earthquakes, tropical cyclones and major disasters worldwide; the deepest local alert coverage is in the United States, Canada and Australia. Every source, its schedule and licence.
- Honest when a feed fails: a source that stops answering is shown as not responding, its last data is labelled with its age, and a location is never called All clear on missing data.
- Privacy: no ads, no data selling. Locations sync to your account when you sign in. Privacy policy.
Zero Containment is not an official warning service. Always follow instructions from local authorities.
